Our Response To COVID-19
The health and well-being of our clients and community is our highest priority. We are actively monitoring developments pertaining to novel coronavirus (COVID-19). Our focus to date has been on educating ourselves and encouraging prevention activities to protect us, our families and our clients against infection. We’re utilizing the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO) as primary resources for information and updates.
While safety is paramount, we also remain absolutely committed to limiting the business impact of this pandemic. Despite the unprecedented circumstances, we are fully prepared to meet your service expectations. The Securities and Exchange Commission has required investment advisory firms to have disaster recovery and business continuation plans in place and tested annually. Our business continuation plan and technology are designed to allow us to work from home and/or the office without interruption of your needs as our client. While some of us may not actually be in the office, we are operating remotely. We have the technology to maintain full access to all software and communications to provide all the service to which you are accustomed from us. Our technology is up-to-date and has several layers of security to protect sensitive client information while we work remotely.
We understand that you may have concerns and fears about the effect on your portfolios. Conferencing and meetings are available as usual. Additionally, we well continue to send out emails and audio newsletters with key updates. We can conference call or video conference with you and your family as the need arises. Call our office and we will schedule it for you. Face-to-face meeting are still available, but for everyone’s safety we will follow CDC guidelines. Ironically, just yesterday I was screened with several questions before could enter my doctor’s clinic for a routine physical.
We hope that you and those close to you remain well. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you need anything at all in this time of uncertainty.
